Want to try out how to make yourself some rose vinegar? Take one pint white vinegar, one cup fragrant rose petals, a pinch of rosemary or lavender.
Use only stainless steel, enamel or glass pans and stir with a wooden spoon. Get a large stock of wild or old fashioned scented roses. Boil the vinegar and pour it over the rose petals. Add the rosemary or the lavender. Cover tightly, let stand for ten days. Strain and pour into sterilised bottle.
