How to make Rose Petal Vinegar

Fill a 2 pint jar half full with clean dark rose petals, preferably from old fashioned scented roses! Press the petals well down and top up the jar with white wine vinegar. Leave covered for two to three weeks, then strain and bottle.

This rose-coloured delicately flavoured vinegar is ideal with summer salads!
