Paper Towels and YOU!
According to Friends of the Earth, paper accounts for one quarter of household waste. And the World Wildlife Federation says that EU production of paper consumables destroys 25 million trees a year! You can cut some of that wicked waste with little effort and no problem!
So use washable cloths. Make your own from old towels, thick dresses, linen, cotton etc. Tattered jeans, shirts, skirts, etc. will become nice green washable cloths! Cut them up, and use them as paper towels. You can use them to mop up the kitchen floor or vessels etc. They can become nice kitchen wipes.
