Rose Platter: fall in love with baking soda
To be a really good Green Householder, you must fall in love with baking soda. It is one of the safest and easiest cleaners to use for many purposes.
Use baking soda on a damp cloth to polish silver.
Use it to kill bugs! If aphids attack your roses and other plants, use one and a half teaspoons of baking soda per pint of water and apply every 7 days!
To clean grout (any color) mix 3 cups of baking soda with one cup warm water. Scrub grout with a brush and rinse.
