Soap your garden ants!
Here is another simple remedy to tackle ants in the garden using soap!
- You will need 2 tablespoons of flaked Ivory soap.
- One tablespoon of Tabasco Sauce.
- Five drops of sesame seed oil (from health food store)
- Five drops of Jungle Rain (from garden supply)
- One Gallon spray bottle.
Place all ingredients in the gallon bottle and shake well to mix. Spray it directly on the ants or on their pathways. Keep away from children and pets. By Dr. Myles H. Bader from his book: The Buggy Professor’s Club the Bugs & Scare the Critters.
To keep ants away also try this: spread a thin line of salt across any entry where ants are charging in. They will not cross a line of salt, says Patty Moosbrugger in her book Solve it with Salt.
