Betty Pierron of Easton, Kansas collects well dried cow manure from her pasture and puts a shovelful or two in a large trash bin. She then fills the bin with water, lets it sit for a week or two, and she gets precious cow tea for watering her roses!
It does not smell bad and is very good for the roses. But never use fresh manure which will burn your plants.
