Garden Fresh Rosy Bath Oil from Living Without Cruelty

Take a handful of rose petals or any other sweet smelling flower such as lavender or jasmine. 50 g. glycerine. 2 drops pink vegetable food colouring optional. It makes the oil look prettier.

Steep the petals in the glycerine for about a week. Strain off the petals, add the other ingredients and shake well. Decant into a pretty bottle and drip into your bath when required. Can also use it as a body lotion after bath.

Heal your skin with coconut oil: pure coconut oil is the best natural skin lotion available says Bruce Fife in his book The Coconut Oil Miracle. He says that this oil makes your skin soft and smooth and keeps it free from the damaging effects of the hot blistering sunlight.
