If you can’t find someone to baby sit your plants when you go out of town try this: fill the bathtub with a few inches of water. Stand bricks on their sides and put the plants on the top.
Or put them on thick towels and a few inches of water and they will soak up what they require.
Run a clothesline rope or heavy twine from a raised pail of water into the soil of the plant.
